Code of Conduct Review

Mediate Today was amongst the first organisations to be appointed in 2012 / 2013 as a member of a pool of Code of Conduct Reviewers (‘the Regional Pool’) to serve a number of Regional Councils including the Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (WSROC), the Northern Sydney Regional Organisations of Councils (NSROC) and the South East Regional Organisation of Councils (SEROC).

We have also been re-appointed in the second round of appointments commencing in 2016.

Mediate Today and its principals, Robert and Lorraine Lopich have also been appointed by Fairfield City Council, Blacktown City Council, Holroyd City Council, Camden Council, Willoughby City Council, North Sydney Council, Wollondilly Shire Council, Ku-ring-gai Council, Lane Cove Council, Wyong Shire Council, Hunter Councils, Gosford City Council, Norfolk Island Regional Council and others as Code of Conduct Reviewers.

Our Code of Conduct Reviewers have substantial experience in the application and interpretation of the Procedures for the Administration of the Model Code of Conduct and in conducting Preliminary Assessments and Investigations in relation to complaints made of alleged Code of Conduct breaches.

Our experienced team have a sound  knowledge and understanding of the needs and expectations of Local Government.  We are familiar with and have a demonstrated ability to work closely with Council Officers and Councillors within the Local Government environment.

Since the introduction of  the system of external Code of Conduct Reviewers, the principals of Mediate Today have gained substantial experience in assessing Code of Conduct complaints, interviewing parties in relation to such complaints, dealing with issues of procedural fairness and other relevant considerations as well as the preparation of professionally considered and presented Outcomes Reports for Councils.

We are confident that we meet and will exceed your expectations.
